AMLAN HONORS ST. ANDREW-THE APOSTLE

The Municipality of Amlan celebrated its Annual Town Fiesta last November 29-30, 2007 in honor of its Patron, St. Andrew-The Apostle with this year’s theme “Towards New Dimension For Continued Progress and Prosperity Thru Unity”.

The 2007 Fiesta Directorate headed by the Executive Chairperson, Mayor Bentham P. de la Cruz and the Fiesta President, Hon. Emelyn B. Rosales had lined up several activities which included the Mountain Bike Competition, Inter-school Chess Competition, Marathon, Miss Amlan Beauty Pageant, Battle of the Marching Bands, Fireworks Display and other activities which made the fiesta celebration more festive and meaningful.

In the Search for Miss Amlan 2007, the winners were:  MISS MA. MARGARITA NARVASA who was crowned as Miss Amlan 2007,  Miss Photogenic, Best in Production Number, Best in Evening Gown and Best Speaker;  MISS MA. CRISTINA MONTECINO was 1^st Runner-Up;  MISS JALOU RAMIREZ was awarded 2^nd Runner-Up and was adjudged as Best in Swimsuit;  MISS TRIXIA MARIE MARAÑA was awarded Miss Aldea Smile;  MISS AILYN BENITEZ was Miss Congeniality and MISS RINA MARIE RUBIA was adjudged Miss Professionalism and Best in Talent.
