Coastal Resource Management

The Municipal Government of Amlan, Province of Negros Oriental through the leadership of Mayor Bentham P. de la Cruz is implementing diversified programs primarily designed for the upliftment of local economic growth with full respect to the environment.

          The Coastal Resource Management Program of the municipality of Amlan is undertaken to address and prioritize a wide range of issues affecting our coastal resources.

 A Coastal Resource Management Section under the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office is created to spearhead in the implementation of plans and programs relevant to the protection, conservation, rehabilitation, development and promotion of coastal resources. Funding taken from the municipality’s 20% - Economic Development Fund is allocated annually to support its CRM initiatives.
